Winter in Provence

Winter in Provence

After a long flight to Paris and a delayed train ride to Avignon, I finally arrived in the charming village of Lacoste. As I stepped off the train and made my way through the quaint streets, the sky was painted with the soft, golden rays of the setting sun. There's something about the light in Provence—a magic that's difficult to describe but unmistakable once you experience it.

The village, though small, was dressed in simple greenery, signaling the arrival of winter. The seasonal transformation was understated yet beautiful, with nature offering a quiet invitation to slow down. Before opening the boutique, I took time to wander the surrounding fields and gardens. Foraging in this serene landscape, I gathered plants and natural elements, inspired by the quiet simplicity of the season to use in my seasonal decorations.

Every season in Provence brings with it its own unique magic, and winter is no different. This time, I’ve focused on creating a capsule collection that reflects a more relaxed fit, with a nod to nature’s rhythm. The pieces are gently colored with natural dyes, mainly drawn from the deep, rich tones of pomegranates. Each piece tells a story—woven from the land, the light, and the spirit of this enchanting region.

In Provence, there’s an invitation to embrace the rhythm of nature, to let each moment, season, and color be a gentle reminder of the simple beauty that surrounds us. Whether it’s the crisp winter air or the slow, quiet days that drift by, winter in Provence is an experience that stays with you long after you’ve left.
