CELEBRATING our 1 YEAR BIRTHDAY!
What a journey, and what a ride! 
 It feels both weird and overwhelming to say that Chase Shuman turns 1 year old in February!  
Sometimes I really do have to pinch myself to truly understand that many of my goals and dreams have already been reached. But the longing and encouragement for growing and expanding the universe of Chase Shuman has only increased. This past year has not only brought us new relationships, but has also opened our eyes to all the love and support we have received. Something that I am forever grateful for.
Therefore, we want to take this occasion as an opportunity to express our deepest gratitude towards all of you who support and wear our brand all around the world.
Reflecting back on this year and how I have evolved as creative director, my knowledge and understanding of the values and DNA of the brand keeps growing. As time goes by, I realize more and more the importance of staying true to the minimalistic and elegant design of our work. This past year we launched two drops. Showed in both New York and Paris, and collaborated with some insanely talented people. 



How has Chase Shuman evolved in the past year?
Chase Shuman has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis in its first year. From humble beginnings, it had slowly blossomed into a brand that exudes minimal, edgy, and femininity. With each passing day, we grow more refined and attuned to the desires of our clients. The brand has become a symbol of passion and dedication. 
Reflecting on the last year - I find myself at a crossroads of accomplishment and trepidation. It is a moment of introspection, a time to evaluate the changes that have unfolded and the emotions that have accompanied them.

Chase: How do you feel a change from last year to now? 


 The journey has been both rewarding and scary, a delicate balance between triumph and uncertainty. I acknowledge that growth is not always comfortable. It requires stepping out of one's comfort zone and embracing the unknown. I have been incredibly fortunate to grow with how we are making things - from our early samples to final production we produce everything by hand in New York. This is something that I am especially proud of. We have grown with the expansion of working with more stylists and independent creatives. We are currently working on growing partnerships with boutiques and retailers to see our products land further out into the world. This past year has truly been focused on growing the brand name and identity. I can see the growth and look forward to even more refinement. 




Chase: What are you most proud of in your first year? 


 I am incredibly proud of so many things - If I had to choose one I would say the support of people. It is an incredibly humbling feeling to put your work out in front of the world and hear replies from people. After our show in New York I was able to connect with so many incredible humans. Chase: What is your favorite garment you produced this year? 


This is such a tough one.. I would say my favorites are any that include tulle or a transparent material. Light vs shadows are an indelible visual inspiration to me. I would say the H.D. Jacket is my favorite from the latest drop. Inspired by a jacket I received from my grandfather's closet. I like the function of a worker jacket mixed with the playfulness of our design flair.
